Sussex County Bead cycle route

Sussex County Bead cycle routeInspired by the county of Sussex and its fun, vibrant seaside towns. We chose a bright shade of orange complimented with a translucent peach glass encased over a white core which has been rolled in a mica powder for a bit of sparkle.

We have achieved this by making a bead half in transparent aqua blue glass

which blends a range of light greens and mint

half of this bead is made with a transparent teal glass and the other half ivory glass

Each pinch of sand will react differently so every bead will be completely unique and these bead are quite small so there's only so much sand we can melt into them

These are available in 12 different transparent glass colours and can be strung on Grey or Turquoise Silk Thread

Set in a remote valley near the Swiss border

Inspired by Steve's work "Late Summer Lundy" we have tried to recreate this beautiful painting

We’ve used these colours to randomly decorate the bead

like waves crashing up against the harbour wall

We wanted to capture the golden cliffs

Our Indian Ocean Barrel bead is made with layers of opaque pale green

The waves can be fairly large so it does attract more experienced swimmers and surfers
