Chicago river, Illinois, 1966 Size:44 x 66 in (110 x 165 cm)In 1966, when Thomas Hoepker was a young staff photographer at STERN magazine, he was asked to cover a fight in London with the then heavyweight champion of the world, Muhammad Ali. After documenting him for a few days there, Hoepker persuaded his editor that the story was bigger and followed Ali to Chicago where this photograph was taken.

He has traveled to Myanmar (Burma) many times over the years to photograph its rich and varied culture
