A surreal experience where the hike up the steep slopes starts at 2 am. The smell of sulphuric fumes in the air and the gas mask bobbing up and down on your neck as you contemplate how far you can go before the fumes make it mandatory that you inhale through the mask. Fortunately the wind was blowing the fumes away from me and I made it to the top
