This plant displays dark red veining with bright yellow lips when first opening that mature into a dark black red pitcher as the season progresses! These are divisions. DORMANT SEASONALLY, STARTING AS EARLY AS OCTOBER AND LASTING AS LATE AS MARCH, DEPENDING ON THE CONDITIONS AND SPECIES HYBRID. The pitchers turn brown and die back to the rhizome, or non carnivorous leaves (phyllodia)
