Château d'Aiguilhe - Seigneurs d'Aiguilhe Castillon - Côtes de Bordeaux 2018 (750ml) HungaryThe second wine of Ch d'Aiguilhe in the far east of Bordeaux and owned by the winemaker at Canon La Gaffelire. It's mostly Merlot with a splash of Cabernet Franc, and it's bold, rich, and fleshy in 2018. Cassis, cocoa, blueberry, smoke, spice and vanilla aromas and flavors are very expressive and the finish is bold, supple, and nicely spiced. Enough fruit and body here to make it a very classy cookout red! Fun to drink now 2034 or so. Rating: 93 James
