Stori Marani Rkatsiteli-Mtsvane 2013 (750ml) BordeauxOlder Amber wine made from indigenous grapes using traditional Georgian Quervi (amphorae). I tasted this wine over two days and twice on the first day. The recommendation from a local sommelier was to chill it and decant for a couple of hours. Fortunately I poured a splash into my glass before decanting. The initial tasting was intriguing. The wine was medium amber and slightly cloudy. Most impressive was the funkiness on the nose (volatile acidity)

The palate is well-balanced and offers flavors of red berries before a long and lively finish
