Blacksand - Teapot Rika NagahataJaneen's hand thrown domestic stoneware collection is the result of a 12 year study of the geology of my landscape explored through the alchemy of ceramic glazes. Sourced from around New Zealand, glazes are blended with the crumbling remnants of volcanic debris, ash, and iron sands Glazed with 6 million year old marine mudstone from the West Coast of New Zealand.
