Kimberly joined BECO LLP as an Associate in October 2022. Prior to joining the firm, she was a Crown Counsel at the Attorney General’s Ministry in the Civil Litigation unit for three years where she routinely litigated personal injury claims, Judicial Review, Breach of Contract, Land Law, Constitutional law, Administrative and Public Law matters among others and provided legal support to various Government Ministries.
Kimberly was also a Legal officer at the Financial Services Commission from 2021-2022. where she represented the Registrar of Companies in legal matters at the High Court and at conferences and seminars. She also provided key legal support in the transition of the new OBRS system and OECD compliance assessments and was responsible for providing substantive support to the National Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorism Financial working groups and to all the units and departments under the Commission, including IMMARBE, Belize High Seas Fisheries Unit, Companies Registry.
Kimberly was admitted to practice in 2018 and is commissioned to practice as a Notary Public. She is a member of the Bar Association of Belize.
